Minced Beef Keema Curry

Serves 4
Preparation: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes

1 tbsp vegetable oil
450g/1lb baby new potatoes, scrubbed and halved
450g/1lb minced beef
500g jar Uncle Ben's Rogan Josh Sauce
125g/4oz frozen peas
Uncle Ben's Express Pilau Rice or Uncle Ben's Basmati Rice to serve.
 
  Minced Beef Keema Curry

1. Par-boil the potatoes for 10 minutes in lightly salted boiling water.
2. Meanwhile, heat a large non-stick frying pan and add the minced beef. Brown the meat all over, breaking it up with the back of a wooden spoon.
3. Then stir in the Uncle Ben's Rogan Josh Sauce and new potatoes. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Next, stir in the peas, bring back to the boil and simmer for 4–5 minutes.
5. And finally, serve it up spooned over Uncle Ben's Basmati Rice or Uncle Ben's Express Pilau Rice, garnished with a little coriander (optional).
