Chunky Medium Chilli with Nachos |
Serves 4 Preparation: 10 minutes Cooking time: 20 minutes
450g/1lb minced beef 500g jar Uncle Ben's® Medium Chilli Sauce 175g packet tortilla chips 3 ripe tomatoes, seeded and chopped 50g/2oz sliced jalapeno peppers (optional) 75g/3oz grated Cheddar cheese Uncle Ben's Express Mexican Rice or Long Grain Rice, to serve |

1. Heat a large non-stick frying pan and add the minced beef. 2. Brown it all over, breaking up with the back of a wooden spoon. 3. Then stir in the Uncle Ben's® Medium Chilli Sauce. 4. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 10 minutes. 5. Next, preheat the grill to medium/hot. 6. Then, tip the minced beef mixture into a heatproof dish and scatter over the tortilla chips to cover. 7. Next, scatter over the tomatoes, jalapeno peppers (if using) and grated cheese. 8. Then grill for 2 minutes or until the cheese has melted. 9. Finally, serve with Uncle Ben's® Express Mexican Rice or Long Grain Rice.
Tip: for a vegetarian option replace the minced beef with kidney beans | |
