Ingredients

250 g UNCLE BEN'S Express Vegetable Pilau Rice

2 tbsp olive oil

200 g chicken breasts sliced into strips

1 onion, sliced

3 cloves
-
2 cm stick cinnamon

3 pods cardamom, crushed

pinch cumin seeds

50 g frozen peas

Method
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chicken until golden and cooked. Remove from pan and keep warm in a bowl
- Add onion to the pan and cook for 8-10 minutes, until lightly brown
- Add spices and cook for 2-3 minutes before adding peas. Stir and add to the bowl of chicken
- Bring 30ml (2 tbsp) of water to the boil in the pan and add the rice. Cover and simmer for 2 minutes
- Spoon the onion and chicken mix onto the rice and recover for another 2 minutes
- Mix well and then serve
